The Final Demand is the letter that is toward the end of your collections strategy and a precursor to legal action. It gives your client seven days notice that, unless they bring their account up to date, you will be taking legal action.
It also includes in the wording the fact that their account is suspended, and no further work or planning of work will be undertaken.
For the Final Demand to be at its most effective, you must stick to any deadlines and actions that are stated within.
